ROAJELF Ghana

ROAJELF Ghana an enabling platform for - but not limited - Young Women Leaders in West Africa Ghana

Reseau Ouest Africain des Jeunes Femmes Leaders – ROAJELF (French abbreviation for West African Network of Young Female Leaders) was launched in February 2009 in Senegal under the auspices of the ECOWAS Gender Development Centre. This initiative is intended for the efforts of public and private services of member countries to empower, support and promote young female leadership in West Africa. It

aims at creating an enabling platform for dialogue on changes in activities and actions for the advancement of gender equality particularly around social issues such as reproductive health, human rights, education especially for the girl-child, and many others that confront the growing African girl. ROAJELF currently has its headquarters in Dakar, Senegal at the ECOWAS Gender Development Centre and country focal points in all ECOWAS member States and this is the page for ROAJELF Ghana.
