R Ofori and his secretary Mr.Adu-Ntiamoah to convene a maiden meeting at the offices of PapsetEnt. Ltd, Adabraka in the year 2005. The first meeting was chaired by convener Mr E.R Ofori, a former bank Executive and the owner of the PentaGroup of Hotels. Mr E.R Ofori gave the preamble of the meeting by stating that time was long overdue for Kwahusto speak with one voice hence the need to for a vibrant association to take up this challenge. He went on to state that it would be easier to use the existing Town Development Associations (TDAs) as foundation of the new association. Members presented agreed to these suggestions and the association was born. The following decision were taken at the maiden meeting: Members agreed to visit DaasebreAkuamoa Boateng II and Kwahu Traditional Council to inform them of the birth of the association.
