Achievers Network is targeting everybody irrespective of the age, religious background, educational status, and political mindset. The primary motive of Achievers Network is to bring intellectuals and entrepreneurs on board in iden
tifying and solving problems in our communities. One of our core mandates is to create leaders to help transform our lives in all aspect. We have identified that, we either lack people with developmental leadership qualities or they are not putting their skills into proper use. This is affecting our daily lives which is creating a lot of people with poor mindset towards development and are financially unstable. In tune to these problems, Achievers Network has come out with educating the younger generation to be equipped with problem solving skills, entrepreneurial skills, good communication skills, decision making skill, team work, critical thinking skills, as well as analytical skills. These will help them identify problems within their scope and find a betteri way of solving them rather than depending solely on an external help. The education will be focused more on why we study a particular thing or subject and how its studies can affect our daily lives. The importance of the four 4 core subjects at the basic level and how effectively studying and understanding it can change our mindset. For instance, a student who does well in mathematics and understands its application will have a good sense of judgment which will increase his critical thinking skills resulting in making good decisions. Likewise, a student who is good at English can express his/herself freely which will increase his communication skills. It will be concluded that, a student with knowledge pertaining to all these areas will automatically do well than a student with just little or no knowledge in such field. Going forward, the four core subjects at the basic level determines their choice of school and subject to be offered at the senior high level. Students turn to do well in their respective courses if they have good grades in the four core subjects. For this reason, Achievers Network advocates that more effort to be place on the four core subjects at the basic level to prepare the students very well before they get to the senior high level. Students turn to perform poorly if they have lesser or no competition, lack of understanding and also when they don’t put what they are taught into practice. Also, there are no platforms set where the students have role models that they look up to. Under the educational program, Achiever network will set up a club known as achievers club where students will be taught the four core subjects from Monday to Thursday and on Friday, they will be taken through critical thinking, entrepreneurship and leadership training. On Saturdays, they will be given assignments on what they’ve been taught throughout the week and on every last Saturday of the month, they will embark on identifying and solving problems they are faced with in their various communities. Also, the students will be equipped with knowledge and technical know-how to educate each community on the importance of solid waste management, fruit tree planting, landscaping and flowering. These will help shape our schools and our communities to get a better environmental looks. Most at times in our communities, the youth that plays football are with the mindset of not being able to combined education with sports based on what they were told and this has failed most of them, turning them into irresponsible youth in the society with less or no education. We have develop a suitable learning plan for the students that will be mainly focusing on sports. They will be taken through a lot of skills development and having role models from various senior high schools to educate and coach them. We believe that the purpose of education is to set you up to your dreams. So if it’s your dream to play football then combining education will make it easier for you. We have been engaged with the organization of community sport over the 6 year period from 2016 in Odumase Krobo named the Manya Krobo Community Games to help change the minds and perceptions behind sport in that municipality.
