Yesterday, the Federation of Associations of Ghanaian Exporters - FAGE GHANA (FAGE) donated coconut seedlings to the leadership of the University of Ghana Green Week Celebration at the FAGE premises.

This gesture directly aligns with the spirit of our upcoming Horti Expo 2026 and its theme: "From Soil to Sovereignty: Building Ghana’s Agriculture Self-Reliance."

This step matters because it actively empowers youth by engaging students from the UG School of Agriculture (IAAS-UG & FACSSA-UG) to drive innovation and agribusiness, while simultaneously boosting Non-Traditional Exports through coconut a high-value crop with massive potential to scale revenue in Ghana's export market and fostering climate resilience through campus tree planting that promotes sustainable food systems and green growth.

By bridging the gap between academia, exporters, and agribusiness leaders, we are equipping the next generation to view agriculture not just as a field of study, but as a thriving pathway to entrepreneurship and national self-reliance.

FAGE at the Forefront of Digital Trade: Driving Future of African Trade

Yesterday, 13th July 2026, representatives from the Federation of Associations of Ghanaian Exporters (Fage Ghana) participated in a pivotal stakeholder engagement at the National African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA) Secretariat in Accra.

Representing Federation of Associations of Ghanaian Exporters (FAGE), our Programs and Projects Lead Ansah-Amprofi Emmanuel and our Brands and Digital Communication officer Otoo Samuel joined key industry players to contribute to the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA) Secretariat (AfCFTA) Origin Management Portal Project: Digital Transformation and AI-Driven Rules of Origin (RoO) Compliance.

Initiated by the AfCFTA Secretariat in collaboration with the Trade Network(KTNet), this landmark project aims to streamline cross-border trade by:

Enhancing Capacity: Strengthening digital systems and human resources across AfCFTA Member States.
Fostering Innovation: Utilizing AI-driven compliance and digital tools to simplify Rules of Origin (RoO) procedures.
Reengineering Processes: Developing a centralized portal to make export documentation, customs clearance, and compliance seamless for exporters.

As the leading voice for Ghanaian exporters, FAGE’s participation ensures that the practical needs, challenges, and insights of our members directly shape these emerging digital trade systems. Empowering Leadership for a Stronger Export Sector: Highlights from the FAGE Corporate Governance Workshop

Yesterday 6th July, 2026, the Federation of Associations of Ghanaian Exporters - FAGE GHANA) successfully hosted a high-level Corporate Governance Workshop at the Mensvic Grand Hotel, Accra.

The exclusive workshop brought together top leaders from various member associations, unions, and producer groups under the FAGE umbrella. Designed as a "train-the-trainer" initiative, the session equipped these key stakeholders with robust governance frameworks to cascade down to their respective organizations, strengthening the foundation of Ghana's non-traditional export sector.

Insights from a Corporate Titan
We were privileged to have Dr. Alfred M. Braimah (Former Finance Director of ECOWAS and current Board Chair for Benso Oil Palm Plantation Plc) as our resource person. Drawing from his wealth of regional and corporate experience, Mr. Braimah delivered a masterclass on:
