At the Cyber Intelligence and Security Aid Bureau (CISAB), one of our defining objectives is to champion national vigilance as a cornerstone of safer, stronger, and more resilient societies.

Security today demands more than reactive measures — it requires an enlightened population equipped with the awareness, knowledge, and confidence to identify risks and take proactive steps to safeguard themselves and their communities. When citizens are informed, alert, and empowered, the entire nation becomes safer.

Our commitment is to spark this culture of vigilance across Ghana and beyond.
Through public education, community engagement, research-driven insights, and strategic partnerships, CISAB works to nurture a society that is not only security-conscious but actively involved in protecting its collective wellbeing.

Because a vigilant citizen is a protected citizen.
And a vigilant nation is a secure nation.

Together, we can build a culture of awareness that strengthens communities, promotes accountability, and creates safer spaces — both online and offline.

Let’s stay alert. Let’s stay informed. Let’s stay safe.

At CISAB, cybersecurity is more than a mandate — it is the heartbeat of our work to build a safer, more trusted digital world for everyone.

As technology continues to reshape how we live, work, and connect, the threats within cyberspace grow just as quickly. Our role is to ensure that individuals, businesses, and communities are equipped with the knowledge, support, and protection they need to stay secure and resilient online.

Here’s how we make an impact:
🔹 Independent, in-depth research and intelligence
🔹 Cyber incident support and practical first-aid guidance
🔹 Training, awareness programs, and community learning
🔹 Ongoing threat monitoring and emerging risk analysis
🔹 Advocacy for safer digital ecosystems and responsible online behaviour
🔹 Active participation in global cyber policy and security discourses that shape the future of cyberspace

Every day, we work to strengthen vigilance, empower digital users, and contribute to a more secure and inclusive digital ecosystem — locally and globally.

Let’s build a safer cyberspace together.

As Ghana advances conversations on integrating nuclear energy into its national energy strategy, ensuring nuclear safety, awareness, and informed community participation has never been more important.

At the Cyber Intelligence and Security Aid Bureau (CISAB), we are committed to supporting initiatives that strengthen public understanding of nuclear safety — especially among students and communities surrounding potential project sites.

Our ongoing outreach focuses on:
🔹 Educating students to build a knowledgeable future generation
🔹 Engaging grassroots communities to promote trust and awareness
🔹 Supporting national efforts toward safe and responsible nuclear development
🔹 Encouraging inclusive participation across all stakeholder groups

Nuclear energy holds great promise for Ghana’s development, but safety, transparency, and community engagement must lead the way.

CISAB remains dedicated to empowering citizens with the knowledge needed to contribute confidently to Ghana’s nuclear future.

Know the ABC’s of being Cyber Ready!

Congratulations 🎈🎉🎊 Global Cyber Alliance

🎂 Today marks a milestone — 10 years of the Global Cyber Alliance! 🎉

Since September 16, 2015, GCA has been working with governments, nonprofits, and businesses around the world to take on systemic cyber risks that no single organization can solve alone. Together, we’ve built practical solutions, forged global partnerships, and helped protect millions from the growing tide of cyber threats.

As we step into our second decade, we’re also thrilled to welcome Brian Cute as Interim CEO as original CEO Philip Reitinger retires.

“Cyber threats are escalating in speed, scale, and sophistication, and the world cannot afford complacency,” said Cute. “GCA has shown what’s possible when we act together. The next chapter is about urgent, global collaboration — building resilience, closing the gaps criminals exploit, and making the Internet safer for all.”

Thank you to our partners, donors, and communities who have worked so hard to make our digital lives more secure. Here’s to 10 years of impact — and to the work still ahead. 💪🌍

Still using your phone number or school name as a password? It’s time to stop.
Passwords based on personal information like your phone number, birth year, or school name are easily guessable—and cybercriminals count on that. Using weak or predictable passwords is like leaving your front door unlocked with a welcome sign.

The chart below illustrates how quickly weak passwords can be cracked—many within seconds.
To stay secure, use strong, unique passwords with a combination of uppercase and lowercase letters, numbers, and special characters.

If your password can be guessed from your social media bio, it’s time for a change.
Cybersecurity starts with you—because hackers don’t take breaks.
