We commend the Government of Ghana and all international partners, including International Organization for Migration - IOM Ghana, for the successful evacuation and safe return of Ghanaians from South Africa during the recent attacks on foreign nationals.

This timely intervention demonstrates a strong commitment to the safety, dignity, and welfare of Ghanaian citizens abroad. We appreciate the coordinated efforts, humanitarian support, and diplomatic collaboration that ensured the protection and safe relocation of affected individuals.

In moments of crisis, solidarity, compassion, and decisive leadership remain essential. We also stand in support of peaceful coexistence, human rights, and the protection of migrants and vulnerable communities everywhere.

In Ghana, and are among the most affected groups of climate impacts and food insecurity because many depend on farming, fishing, and small-scale food production for survival and income. However, rising temperatures, unpredictable rainfall, droughts, floods, and land degradation continue to reduce crop yields and increase food insecurity, especially in rural communities.

At EcoClub 360, we remain committed to contributing to empowering young people and vulnerable communities, especially women, to become active drivers of climate action and food security through sustainable initiatives, including education, advocacy and community engagement.

Together, let us build climate-smart communities and advance sustainable development for all.

Empowering the next generation is one of our greatest tools in the fight against climate change. Ghana’s youth are not just the future, they are the present solution.

By equipping young minds with climate knowledge and skills, we unlock innovation, sustainable entrepreneurship, and grassroots action that can transform our communities. From green education in schools to youth-led restoration and climate-tech initiatives, investing in young people is how we build a resilient, sustainable nation.

Let us commit to giving them the platforms, tools, and education they need to lead.

Let’s connect and collaborate!
