Richoff Disability Sports and Educational Foundation, is a certified Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) founded in Accra, Ghana. Which is enhanced to promote the development of persons living with disabilities through Entrepreneurship, Employment, Education, Skills training, Sports, Creative arts and Culture. And also advocates for the rights of persons with disabilities in Ghana as well as Africa.
ABOUT THE FOUNDER MR. RICHARD OFFEI
Mr. Richard Offei who is the Founder and President of Richoff Disability Foundation and a former Liberty Professionals Football club player stared the career with Michael Essien by then, but now an amputee after a tragic motor accident. When this happened he was neglected by the family and the society and had no place to stay. This led him to be residing and surviving on the street. However, he managed to join the Ghana Amputee National team in the year 2002 and through his hard work and determination, became captain of the team. He led the team to various tournaments including the United Kingdom (UK), France, Turkey and Argentina for the amputee world championships. He worked with Ghana Cocoa Board for about 12 years and currently he is the CEO and founder of the Richoff Disability Empowerment Ventures. A company that seeks to employ disabilities in Ghana as well as Africa. After his retirement from the National Amputee Team, he decided to use his outfit to support and develop disability issues in Ghana as well as Africa. So he set up DISABILITY FOUNDATION to support and develop the vulnerable disabled people who are often ignored and neglected by the family and society due to his past experience.
According to the Ghana Federation of Persons with Disabilities, the disability population is estimated at 20% of the total population, approximately 5 million people, and 90% of the 5 million people are very poor, and also In Africa, person living with disability faces a lot of challenges like homelessness, poverty, poor health care and education as well as employment opportunities. This leads many of them to beg for arms and reside on the street for their daily survival. Disability can occur in so many ways. In Ghana for instance, when parents give birth to a disable child they see him or her to be a cures to the family so they are maltreated and sometimes thrown into rivers. The lucky ones to survive are also driven out of their home to the street for survival.

Our long term plan project, AFRICAN DISABILITY CENTRE OF EXCELLENCE
In readiness for this purpose, Richoff Foundation has already acquired 40 acres of land which was donated by NANA EKOW BAISIE II, Chief of Komenda Dominase in Central Region of Ghana, to construct a Disability Sport and Educational Complex.
Our ongoing project AFRICAN DISABILITY CENTRE OF EXCELLENCE will offer excellent Sectors covering Educational, Sports, Employment and Recreational opportunities for the poor and needy physically challenged people in the Africa.

The first ever ongoing company, Richoff Disability Empowerment Ventures ( R.D.E.V ) is a company that focus on given an employment to Person With Disabilities (P.W.D.)
In Africa the person living with disability faces a lot of challenges like homeless, poor health care, lack of education and lack of job opportunities even there is on development, this lead many of them to beg and residing on the street for their survival.
Richoff Disability Empowerment Ventures ( R.D.E.V ) is aimed to empowering and employing many physical challenged people in Ghana as well as Africa.
R.D.E.V is a company that produces healthy and organic natural fruit juice to boost an immune system to fight against sickness and diseases in humanity.
R.D.E.V is calling upon the general public, international institution to come into our aid to raise funds and resourcing to developed this noble company for person with disability for them to be employed.

VISION
Our Vision is to change the perception on disabilities being useless in Africa.
To assist and empowering physically challenged youth through Entrepreneurship and Job Employment.

ACHIEVEMENT
1. richoff foundation has formed a football club (richoff amputee football club) which is the first ever amputee football club in Ghana that had even produce young, talented and capable players to the Ghana national amputee team and they became the key players in the national amputee team (the black challenge) and other disability sporting disciplines. For examples: Mubarak Adam and Fusani Iddi playing professional amputee football in Turkey through the help of the foundation.
