His Royal Highness, the Chief of Nima, Chief Abachena Brimah Gimbala IV, together with the Nii Odoi Kwoa family Head,Nii Odoi Kwoa II, owners of the Akanetso Lands( which Nima falls within) and their entourage, paid a solemn visit to the Cultural Consulate of Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran to attend the memorial service held in honor of the Iranian Supreme Leader and members of the community who suffered injustice.

In the Chief's address, he emphasized that injustice is not a new phenomenon, noting that its roots date back many years. He reminded all that true and lasting peace can only be achieved when justice is upheld.

He further encouraged everyone to remain truthful in their dealings and to support justice as the foundation for peace, adding that while falsehood may persist for a time, truth and justice will always prevail.

The delegation later signed the Book of Condolence at the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran as a mark of respect and solidarity.

Joint Condolence Message from the Office of His Eminence Chief Abachena Brimah Gimbala IV and the Nii Odoi Kwao Royal Family

The office of the chief of Nima, under the leadership of His Eminence Chief Abachena Brimah Gimbala IV, in collaboration with the Nii Odoi Kwao Royal Family, extends its deepest and most heartfelt condolences to the President of the Republic, His Excellency John Dramani Mahama, the leadership and entire membership of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), the bereaved families, and the people of Ghana, following the tragic helicopter crash that occurred on August 5, 2025.

This national calamity, which claimed the lives of eight esteemed Ghanaians including Ministers of State, senior security officials, and dedicated party operatives has left the entire nation shaken with grief. Their selfless devotion to duty, their unwavering patriotism, and their courage in the face of adversity will forever be remembered.

The Office of the Chief of Nima and the Nii Odoi Kwao Royal Family stand united in mourning. As landlords and custodians of the rich traditions and history of Nima, we join the nation in honoring the sacrifice of our fallen heroes and praying for divine comfort for their families.

We invoke the blessings of Almighty Allah and the Most High God upon the souls of the departed. May they be granted eternal rest and honored among the righteous.

In this solemn moment, we call on all citizens to reflect deeply, unite across political and ethnic divides, and renew our shared commitment to peace, nation-building, and the sacred value of human life.

May Ghana find healing in our unity, and may the legacy of our fallen patriots continue to guide our path toward justice, service, and prosperity.
