Sorrow fills our hearts, especially we those whose freedom was stolen long ago. Forced from our homes and families to labor in a foreign land. Our tears fall like never ending rain. As we suffer in chains. Our cries echo through the night. As our fight for a chance at freedom’s light
But still we hold on to hope.
For one day we will be free to return to our homeland and live with peace and dignity.
The pains of slavery will never fade, but the memory of our strength and resilience will live on, forever etched in history. On the occasion of Ghana Independence Day, let us promise ourselves to always work for the prosperity of our country.
Let join hands and make Ghana a better place for the citizens . We can’t afford to fail. The institution will work again because we shall defy the odds.
