SESSIONS SEVEN AND EIGHT – FINDING THEIR VOICE, HOLDING THEIR GROUND! 💫

If you had walked into the room, here is what you would have seen.

A girl who once whispered, now standing tall and speaking her mind without apology.

That was Session Seven: Public Speaking, Persuasive Communication and Advocacy with Ms. Lillipearl Baaba Otoo. Our girls learned that public speaking is not about being loud. It is about being clear, confident and heard. Their voice is a tool and a tool unused is wasted.

Another girl, shaking her head and saying “no” without guilt, without fear, without explanation.

That was Session Eight: Peer Pressure, Boundaries and Saying No with Mr. Samuel Lamptey. They learned that peer pressure sometimes comes dressed as friendship, that “no” is a full sentence and that protecting your values is strength, not rudeness.

These sessions were not just lessons. They were armour.

The 2026 Cohort is learning to lead with courage, clarity and character.

SESSIONS FIVE AND SIX COMPLETE! 💫

Our 30 girls from six schools in Ayawaso East and North are continuing their leadership journey, and these two sessions were both eye-opening and empowering.

In Session Five, the girls were taken through Environmental Stewardship and Sustainable Practices. They learned about the importance of caring for our planet, the role they can play in protecting the environment, and how to adopt sustainable habits in their daily lives.

In Session Six, the girls explored My Body, My Dignity – Menstrual Health and Hygiene Management. This session equipped them with vital knowledge about their bodies, menstrual health and personal hygiene, helping them to manage their periods with confidence and dignity.

The girls were engaged, asked thoughtful questions and left feeling empowered to take charge of their health.

We are deeply grateful to our mentors, Miss Jannatul Al-Hussein and Miss Aurelia Naa Adjeley Sowah-Mensah, for delivering these impactful sessions.
We are so proud of how these young leaders are growing in knowledge, confidence and awareness.
