The people of Opeikuman at the Living Bread Missions where souls are being brought to christ were blessed by the financial support and clothing we gave to them. Our encouragement to you who gave is in Psalms 41:1-3.
[1] Blessed is he who considers the poor; The Lord will deliver him in time of trouble. [2] The Lord will preserve him and keep him alive, And he will be blessed on the earth; You will not deliver him to the will of his enemies. [3] The Lord will strengthen him on his bed of illness; You will sustain him on his sickbed."

Four years ago today, I embarked on a mission driven by the Holy Spirit.

At first, it all seemed very new but everyday the passion to bring joy to the poor grew stronger.

I have seen many sad situations within this period. Where people are in tears because of their predicament to tears of joy because of the hope we brought to their lives. For some, we were able to make a change but for others, we couldn't.

Through it all there have been those who believed in our cause and have given to change lives. To them as we mark this milestone we say may your barns never run dry and know that as you give to the poor, you have lent to God and He surely rewards.

To all who keep volunteering to bring joy to others, may you never be found wanting and may your blessings locate and surprise you.

To my dear husband, Rich, thank you for seeing God in this and always being there.

We didn't pray and fast for it.
We didn't fight for it.
We didn't do anything.....but He first loved us.

That's why we love.

Because He first loved us.

One of my mentors told me "always remember to look at the positive side of people and things." And I realize that is how you learn to love. There's always good in someone no matter how imperfect they may seem in your eyes. Love first and if despite that they still spew hate, know that you have done your part.

Love.

Love replaces all prejudice, hate, strife, anger and fear.

Decide today to Love because, remember, He first loved us.
