On behalf of the RCAPI, thank you for your support on World Cleanup Day 2025 World Cleanup Day. Because of each and everyone of you, Mayekoo alongside 500 volunteers came together at Laboma Beach to clear plastics, fabric, wood, and other debris from the shoreline.

With their effort and with the Beach Rake hauling what they collected, we removed 8 full loads, each weighing about 4,500 lbs (≈2 metric tons). That’s over 16 metric tons of waste in just one day.

This impact was only possible through OUR partnership. 🌍

Save a Child District Project – Celebrating the Success of Jaiden’s Heart Surgery

💖 A Story of Hope & Healing 💖

Good evening, All 🌟

On Saturday, the Rotary Club of Accra–Premier International (RCAPI) welcomed Jaiden and his mother. After undergoing life-saving heart surgery in India this July, Jaiden is now healthy, smiling, and full of life! 🙏🏾💙

🎉 The celebration was graced by Past District Governor Florence Maame Hagan, who joined us to honor Jaiden’s remarkable journey. This is Rotary in action — giving children a new chance at life.

But that’s not all…

🚨 Project Update:

The two children we sponsored have finally received their visas ✅
Awaiting the second child and parents to confirm their travel schedule.

Jaiden's Surgery was done at Jayadeva Super Speciality Hospital, Mysore (India) where RCAPI worked closely with the medical team in India to finalize dates and ensure smooth coordination once they arrive.

Thanks to the Save a Child District Project, partnerships, and the unwavering support of Rotarians and donors, Jaiden received a second chance at life.

This is the power of service and the impact of partnerships. Together, we are saving lives, building hope, and creating brighter futures. This is Rotary at its heart — transforming lives, one child at a time.💙
