Elsewhere in Ntomem village, as I arrived this morning, I've been thinking hard about some of the basic challenging situations we face as an ummah. It saddens the heart to realize how the Deen is literally on its knees in the hinterlands and villages.
This is the central mosque where neighbouring villages converge for Jumu'ah and other Islamic programs.
Before we can start dawah work here, for sustainability, at least the place of worship should be in a good shape to start with. As for the rest of the challenges, we leave them for another time.

Over 150 children in Aframso are in dire need of a Madrassa for their Islamic education. For years, they have been learning out in the open, making it incredibly difficult to separate them into proper classes and learning stages.

They are calling out for our support to secure a decent, structured space to study. Let’s help them build a brighter future.

This is shafiyu Osman and his friend Muniru Yusuf . Behind their shy smile and innocent face is a story of heavy loss. Having lost thier fathers, they now live with thier grandmother, who tries her best, but age and poverty are difficult rivals.
Thier tattered clothes are a silent plea for the childhood they deserve but cannot afford.

As we navigate these last ten nights of Tahajjud, let’s remember that we are the answer to someone else's prayer.

We are seeking donations to provide them with clothing, food, and school supplies. No amount is too small to change the world

Hmmmmmm the less previledged are mostly found in the farthest part of the villages unless you travel deeply into the hinterlands, you wouldn't know the silent struggles.

THE ROAD TO THE LAST TEN 10 DAYS !!

As we hit Ramadan 16, my heart and my bags are already on route towards the villages. For years, it has become a sacred ritual for me to spend the last 10 days and Eid-ul-Fitr in remote areas, leading Taraweeh, seeking Laylatul Qadr, and standing as Imam for the Eid prayers for over 11yrs now.

This year, the mission feels even more urgent. As during one of my recent visit to one of these villages earlier in the beginning of Ramadan , one old man told me: "We were feeling so down, but your arrival gave us the boost we needed and Our morale is back."

Currently I have more than 5 villages who barely have anyone to lead them. Even the 5 daily prayers is a problem. Now I cannot divide myself. So I will choos the most needy among them, but I don't want the others to be left in the dark as well.

If you are a brother who can lead prayers and you want to experience the raw, pure Iman ( faith ) of the village, please reach out. I can link you to one of the villages so that you go and assist them.

As I'm preparing myself , I refuse to go empty-handed. I want to bring the joy of Eid to those who have the least. I am knocking on your doors for:

CLOTHING & FOOTWEAR:
Gently used clothes, bags, and sandals for families to wear on Eid day.

FOODSTUFFS: Rice, oil, or grains so we can organize a communal feast after the Eid prayers.

CASH SUPPORT: To help with transport, logistics, and the "Eid Feast."
