It brings joy to the heart when you realize how grateful those in the villages become when they receive your donations of ( Used clothes, sandals, footwear's, bags, kids old text books, etc ).

Is unfortunate i don't fancy taking pictures and posting them on socials as i sometimes find it abit embarrasing as they take this items and wear them instantly upon receiving them.

A lady gave out a used praying mat 2yrs ago to be given out in charity. when I got to the village, I didn't give it out to anyone, I rather used it to replace the mosques old, worn out one they were using at the imams position. Guess what is 2yrs today, and they are still using the same praying mat the donor gave. Subhanallah... ..Imagine her rewards ?

The multiple 5 daily prayers, Ramadan tahajudd, taraweh, naming ceremony, nikkah and many other islamic functions they've held in the mosque has been used. We cannot imagine the rewards and barakah acculsted for this donor all this while in this 2yrs.

Perhaps many good opportunities and blessings has been opened for her and it might never cross her mind that maybe, it probably be from the rewards of a used praying mat she gave out in charity . I'm sure she night have forgotten till date ...lol . when she sees this post I'm sure she will know.

We are humans and we definitely will forget, about some of the little good we do, but Allah never forgets. Your used clothes or items given out to benefit others in the villages can go a long way to protect you from calamities and obstacles in life and In your grave and on the day of judgment.

The blessing in it, could take you by surprise and you might never imagine.

Assalam alaikum warahmatullah wabarakatuhu......dear respected Muslims and sympathizers.

Sometime ago during ramadan, I visited our blind - Gandpa at kwasiakan village during one of my routine dawwah trips. As we visited him, we realized his place of stay was very disturbing with everything almost at the verge of collapsing. So he pleaded I launch an appeal to help assist get a better place for him because the rains had detriorated almost everything.

Alhamdulilah....when I posted the appeal video and brother who wants to remain anonymous came through to help assist build a single room with W/C for him. By the grace of Allah we started and we got to the point of roofing. After the woods were bought, the donor is unreachable for a while now ( We pray and hope he is safe )

However, reports indicates that, people are stealing the woods and others likewise using the uncompleted building as a place of passing stool ( i.e...toil*t ) .

After several efforts to reach the donor which hasn't been successful, we intend to open an appeal to seek the support of everyone who can come through and assist to complete this project for the sake of Allah.

We need to buy 3 packets of roofing sheets, and workmanship of the carpenter to start with. Afterwards we now do plastering, floor screed, tiling and furnishing .

As I drove through the deepest darkness of the night, the mercy of Allah got me shorlisted amongst those who are blessed to witness another beautiful morning. We are forever thankfu for the travelling mercies bestowed to us by Allah . ALHAMDULILAH !

As every morning brings about a new potential and opportunity, I pledge at the peril of my life, to remain committed in striving towards serving the Deen & Humanity within the villages, hinterlands and deprived communities .

We may not be able to do much, However we pray the Almighty pardon us and accept our little struggles in an attempt to please him. Aameen

Last month I embarked on a Dawwah trip to emissano village were i chanced on some teenagers ( girls ) between the ages of 12-16 years . some of which were already single mothers . It was obvious that grown a** men and youth were doing their most to put most of these girls in a family way. I took it upon myself to speak with them, encouraged them and had a word with their parents on the need to focus on their girls in other to bring out the best in them.

I later on made some time to tour around the village and its surrounding only to reliazed there were about 30-70 more young girls ( teenagers of their kind ) who are in similar situation. Some had lost confidence, self esteem, no direction, etc.... I could see they really need a mentor, someone to guide and help them navigate thier way through life.

I have been thinking on the best possible way to help these kids . Maybe to set up a YOUTH CLUB/ GIRLS CLUB for them ( both boys and girls ) or ( Girls only ) so they can be organized as a one whole body. Then we can introduce activities like reading club, and other stuffs amongst them. From there we try to bring in resource persons , and people to organize seminars, talks, mentor and empower them from time to time so they can have a path, discover their potentials etc.....

However, I have intended on REVISITING them on another Dawwah Trip I see the best possible way to put all these teenagers together under one umbrella . even tho some of them have expressed interest to become Muslims , however I want to take things slow and look at the broader picture of trying to help all..Maybe through this they will see the light and beauty of Islam and its teachings and will be fully convinced without any sentiments or external factors .

If you have school bags, story books, text books, new/ used clothes of your kids or that of grown ups, and other beneficial stuffs you can reach out to me with them as a form of donations .

I also have kids growing up hence, I pray this intiative goes a long way to have a significant impact and bring about a solid transformation in the lives of kids, and teemagers in the villages, hinterlands and rural areas.
