Youth Stand For SRHR

In March this year, we launched the Adolescent Safe Spaces campaign in the Greater Accra Region of Ghana. We visited the St. Barnabas Anglican Basic School in Osu, to empower adolescent against Sexual & Gender Based Violence (SGBV) and distributed the SGBV Prevention Guide to the students.

Project is supported by the Women Deliver Youth Deliver grants .

ADOLESCENT SAFE SPACES PROJECT
After months of a long & tedious research process, the Youth Stand for SRHR team is finally set to launch it’s maiden guiding tool for adolescent against Sexual and Gender Based Violence.

In a few days, the campaign begins in selected Junior High Schools the Greater Accra Region.

Well done team. We settle less until every adolescent is protected. 👏🏾👏🏾

POLICY PAPER PRESENTATION

In a solemn event, the project manager of Youth Stand for SRHR Ekow Plange submitted a policy recommendation paper to the office of Director of Education and the Municipal Assembly of the Yilo Krobo Municipality. This forms part of the culminating event of the training & research project done in the municipality from August to September 2021.
We are looking forward that the recommendations made in this paper will be implemented by the local government for the development of our people. Special thanks to Women Deliver Youth Deliver
