God blesses the diligent
As children of The Most High, God is always looking for ways through which He will bless you. The only way you can attract that blessing from God while here on earth is for God to deem you a good person. Who then is a good person in the sight of The Lord?
Ecclesiastes 2:26 reads " For God giveth to a man that is good in his sight wisdom, and knowledge, and joy: but to the sinner he giveth travail, to gather and to heap up, that he may give to him that is good before God. This also is vanity and vexation of spirit." God only gives wisdom, knowledge and joy to His people because He desires for them to be fulfilled in this life. Without these, you cannot prosper. A good person in the eyes of God is someone who walks uprightly with Him and follows His word circumspectly; such are those who can attract God's blessings. Many of you Christians today are not happy with your jobs because you are not being promoted or your businesses are not moving as they should and you know the cause could be only one; sin. The verse continues to tell us that as for the sinner, he will suffer and gather and God will give to the upright, more like you will not enjoy the fruit of your labour. And this is why most people get jealous about God's children prospering because within them, their souls know that what the righteous is enjoying belongs to them.
Never pray for God to bless you, it is not biblical. The only way is to be deemed righteous in God's eyes. Draw closer to Him today and start making God proud by turning away from all forms of iniquity, walk diligently with Him and He shall surely honour you in due time.
