The ABAN Center for Global Policy is thrilled to announce the Future Leaders’ Prize 2025, an essay competition for high school students. This is your chance to share your vision for “My Dream Ghana” and inspire change in our nation.

We want to hear your ideas on critical topics like education, health, governance, technology, and more. The top three essays will be awarded exciting prizes, including laptops, books, and cash!

To participate:

Write a handwritten essay (maximum 1,000 words).

Attach a copy of your national ID.

The deadline for submission is September 25, 2025.

Thank you for joining us for the SDGs Accelerator Workshop in Accra, Ghana. Now, let’s take action for the SDGs and beyond.

The SDGs Accelerator workshop convened 120 young people, Government officials and development partners to discuss maximising local youth-led actions for the SDGs and beyond.

Join us on August 28, 2025 for the first ever Youth SDGs Accelerator Workshop in Ghana.

With less than five years remaining until the 2030 deadline for achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and in commemoration of the 2025 International Youth Month, the workshop will showcase youth-led initiatives, fostering collaboration and co-creating solutions to localise the SDGs in Ghana.

The workshop is expected to host 100 young leaders in Ghana, exposing youth leaders to practical pathways for taking action on the SDGs and providing an opportunity for them to connect with stakeholders who can help facilitate various processes for such actions.
