Yesterday, 28th May 2026, marked World Menstrual Hygiene Day 2026. Kabaka Foundation Ghana proudly partnered with the Ga East Municipal Health Directorate to provide menstrual hygiene education and distribute free sanitary pads to adolescent girls in selected public basic schools within the Ga East Municipality of the Greater Accra Region.

This initiative forms part of our commitment to promoting menstrual health, empowering young girls, and ensuring that no girl misses school because of her menstrual cycle.

Together, we are breaking barriers, promoting dignity, and creating a healthier future for our young girls.

Kabaka Foundation 🇧🇴 is proud to partner the Ga East Municipal Health Directorate Public Health Unit to commemorate the 2026 World Menstrual Hygiene Day at St James Anglican School in Tieman, Accra 🇧🇴

Together, we continue to promote menstrual health awareness, dignity, and education for young girls in our communities. The outreach team will also visit selected schools across the Ga East Municipality in the coming week.
