YOUNG MINDS, SMART SECURITY: YOUTH GAIN PRACTICAL CCTV SKILLS

Family Support Lifeline, in collaboration with Rahmatek IT and Business Solutions, successfully organized a 2-day hands-on CCTV installation training on 4th–5th March 2026.
The workshop brought together enthusiastic youth from Juabenba, Kurofofrom, Nkyerepoaso, and Abesewase, equipping them with practical skills in CCTV setup, installation, configuration, and maintenance. Through demonstrations and practical sessions, participants gained valuable knowledge that can open doors to employment, entrepreneurship, and improved community security. At Family Support Lifeline, we believe empowering young people with practical skills is key to building stronger and safer communities.
πŸ‘ A big thank you to Rahmatek IT and Business Solutions for partnering with us to make this impactful training possible.
Together, we are creating opportunities and shaping brighter futures for our youth.

πŸŽ‰ A Star Has Risen! πŸŽ‰
We are overjoyed to celebrate Nicholas Annan, the first recipient of the Kiphart-Eduful Scholarship, who has just graduated from KNUST with First Class Honours, Summa Cum Laude in Economics! 🌟
From rural Mansokwaa to the top ranks of his graduating class, Nicholas has shown what resilience, hard work, and opportunity can achieve. Along the way, he received the Academic Excellence Award 2025, made the Department’s Honor List 2024, and became the third-best student in Economics. He will now serve as a Teaching Assistant to inspire others just as he was inspired.
His success is a proud moment for FASUL, our partners, and everyone who believes in giving brilliant students the chance to shine. Congratulations, Nicholas, you are a true inspiration! πŸ‘πŸ’™

STITCHING A BRIGHTER FUTURE: FROM ASPIRATIONS TO APPRENTICESHIP
Our mission is simple yet powerful, to walk alongside families in underserved communities, to raise their children with hope, dignity, and opportunity. Every story we encounter is a thread in the beautiful tapestry of transformation we are helping to weave, and we are excited to share some of these stories.

Education has the power to transform lives, and at Family Support Lifeline (FASUL) together with our international partners, we believe in nurturing the potential of brilliant young minds. One such inspiring story is that of Emmanuel Owusu Frimpong, a determined student currently at the University of Mines and Technology (UMaT) in Tarkwa, Ghana. Through a scholarship program ( Kiphart-Eduful scholarship program) and a donation of a brand new laptop, Emmanuel's academic journey has been significantly enhanced, giving him the tools he needs to thrive in his mining engineering studies. https://www.fasul.org/blog/unearthing-potential-how-a-scholarship-is-helping-emmanuel-mine-his-future-2

UNLEASHING THE POWER OF KNOWLEDGE: FASUL'S GIFT TO YOUNG MINDS IN UNDERSERVED SCHOOLS

In a world where access to quality education remains a challenge, particularly in underserved communities in Ghana, supported by the Chicago partners, Family Support Lifeline (FASUL)stands firm in its commitment to ignite the flame of learning. Recently, we embarked on a mission to support the bright futures of young learners at Manhyia, Afraku Boatengkrom and Bonkwaso Community Schools. Through our dedicated efforts, we were able to donate a collection of English, Science, Mathematics, Computing and Phonics books, paving the way for the establishment of a new library that will serve as a beacon of knowledge in the various community.

FASUL's APPRENTICESHIP AND VOCATIONAL SKILLS INITIATIVES.

Emmanuel Ackah Boateng, a resident of the Boateng Kurom Community in the Ashanti Region, has successfully enrolled in FASUL's Apprenticeship and Vocational Skills Training initiatives. The FASUL field prior to the intervention convened with the Master to discuss the essential processes and requirements for Boateng to receive training as an auto mechanic.

Boateng, who has always been eager to learn about auto mechanics, faced financial obstacles that prevented him from pursuing his passion. His dreams were further hindered by the sudden loss of his father, who had been his main support. In a conversation with Boateng, he shared that he had begun training but could not complete it after his father's passing. As a result, he spent nearly two years engaged in alternative work, striving to gather the necessary funds to resume his training. This sad narrative was confirmed by the Master, who emphasized a willingness to assist. Nonetheless, he noted without access to essential tools and materials, facilitating the training would prove challenging.

FASUL aims to empower youth and families in underserved communities, helping them develop self-worth, economic resilience, and self-sufficiency to support their children and engage in meaningful community development.
