Day 5 | After SHS, What Next? 🎓✨

What an amazing way to wrap up an unforgettable week!

The team visited Methodist Girls' Senior High School for the final day of the "After SHS, What Next?" outreach. We carried the same message of encouraging students to embrace the opportunities ahead, make informed decisions, and confidently prepare for life beyond SHS, with Dr. Tracy Mallen- Ntiador, Co-Director of the Women in Philanthropy Ghana Research Team, leading the session.

The highlight of the day was receiving a Citation of Appreciation from the P.K. Amoabeng Leadership Foundation. We are truly grateful for this recognition and honoured to have been part of an initiative that is inspiring and empowering young people.

From Day 1 to Day 5, our team enjoyed every school visit, every interaction, and every opportunity to connect with students. Seeing their enthusiasm and engagement throughout the outreach made the experience truly rewarding.

A big thank you to the P.K. Amoabeng Leadership Foundation and all partners involved for creating this platform and giving us the opportunity to contribute to a cause that supports young people, especially the girl child.

Here’s to more impact, more partnerships, and more lives inspired.

Today marked Day 4 of the "After SHS, What Next?"outreach, organized by the P.K. Amoabeng Leadership Foundation with Women in Philanthropy Ghana as a proud partner.

Today's session was led by Dr. Tracy Maillen-Ntiador, Co-Director of the Women in Philanthropy Ghana Research Team. She encouraged students to start thinking about life after SHS, embrace new opportunities, and prepare for the journey ahead.

The transition from SHS is a big step. With the right guidance and mindset, young people can make informed decisions and confidently pursue their goals.

We are proud to support initiatives that equip students with the knowledge and confidence they need to succeed.

Day 3 | After SHS, What Next? 🎓

Another impactful day of inspiring and empowering the next generation!

Today, the After SHS, What Next?outreach continued, organized by the P.K. Amoabeng Leadership Foundation in partnership with Women in Philanthropy Ghana.

Our guest speaker, Lawrencia Awuku of Giving Tuesday Ghana and AL Consulting, delivered an engaging session on self-confidence and menstrual hygiene, encouraging students to believe in their potential, make informed decisions, and embrace healthy practices with confidence.

As part of the outreach, the team also donated sanitary pads to Senior High School girls to promote menstrual health, dignity, and uninterrupted learning.

At Women in Philanthropy Ghana, we believe that empowering young people goes beyond education. It is about building confidence, creating opportunities, and providing the support they need to become compassionate leaders and changemakers.

Together, we are investing in a future where every young person has the confidence to lead and the opportunity to thrive.

Day 2 | After SHS, What Next?

Another impactful day, another opportunity to invest in the future.

Yesterday, we had the privilege of engaging the brilliant young women of Aburi Girls' Senior High School through the "After SHS, What Next?" initiative, organized by the PK leadership foundation in partnership with Women in Philanthropy Ghana.

Sarfoa Asamoah, Co-Director of Programs at WIP Ghana also enlightened the students on the power of self-affirmation, introduced them to the essence of philanthropy, and encouraged them to become changemakers in their communities. Our guest speaker, Ms. Lawrencia Awuku inspired the students to build self-confidence and pursue their dreams boldly.

At Women in Philanthropy Ghana, we remain committed to empowering young women with the confidence, knowledge, and mindset to thrive.

A heartfelt thank you to our speakers, the P.K. Amoabeng Leadership Association, and the entire team for making Day 2 a memorable and impactful experience.

Together, we're raising confident young women who know their worth and are ready for what comes next.
