TB survivors are not just survivors, they are champions.

Across Ghana, they are actively finding cases, supporting treatment, and raising awareness in their communities.

Ending TB starts with people who understand it.

A TB survivor and champion, Bridget Abaidoo shared her powerful story, highlighting how stigma affected her treatment journey.

She called for greater support for people affected by TB, emphasizing that no one should have to suffer in silence because of fear or judgment.

Her message was clear: we cannot end TB if we do not first address the stigma that surrounds it.

Today, on World TB Day, we are reminded that TB is not just a disease, it is a social and public health challenge.

No one should suffer or die from a preventable and curable disease. Yet stigma, delayed diagnosis, and gaps in access to care continue to hold us back.

We call for stronger community engagement, sustained funding, and people-centered TB services.
Together, we can end TB.

Tomorrow, 24th March is World TB Day!!

Tuberculosis is preventable, treatable, and curable, yet it continues to affect thousands of lives across Ghana.

Behind every statistic is a person, a family, and a community.
