Tullow Alumni Connect is now Jubilee Alumni Connect!

Launched in 2024 and implemented by the Youth Bridge Foundation with support from Tullow Ghana, the alumni network was established to harness the gains from Tullow Oil’s investment in education and to connect its beneficiaries to the world of work.

After two years of implementation, the network will now be operational under Jubilee Partners, a consortium of energy companies.

Despite this new development, the program remains committed to providing support systems and job-readiness programs to prepare and enhance scholarship beneficiaries’ transition to the world of work and livelihoods.

Same project, same focus, a bigger connection!

4 weeks done, 4 more to go!

At the Youth Bridge Foundation, we believe that access to opportunity begins with developing youth capacity by meeting them where they are and empowering them with the needed skills to thrive. That's why we're investing in foundational digital skills early.

Our Typing Bootcamp is still running and equipping young people in Nsawam with the confidence and skills to create in a digital world.

Happy May Day!

As we celebrate May Day, we recognise the people who show up every day with intention.

Across programs, communications, and field engagements, our team continues to create spaces for young people to lead, to question, and to shape the systems around them.

Today is a moment to recognise the small wins, the behind-the-scenes coordination, and the belief that young people deserve to be at the centre of development and governance conversations.

We celebrate our team, and every young person out there doing the work, pushing boundaries, and choosing to stay engaged.

For months, we’ve engaged young people across Ghana and Japan in important conversations on Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR), climate adaptation, innovation, and policy.

Together, we’ve explored how youth can drive practical solutions in their communities, from understanding the fundamentals of DRR and climate resilience to examining the role of digital platforms in shaping climate awareness and action.

Now, we bring it all together.

Join us for the final session in our international webinar series on DRR and Climate Change Adaptation, focused on “Citizen Science and Community-Based Disaster Risk Reduction: Youth Voices from the Field.”

Alongside other experts, our Train-the-Trainer participants will share their experiences from the project and how they are replicating the training in their communities.

We want you to be part of this conversation!

"Youth points should be considered and not seen as inexperienced", these are words from youth participants yesterday as we engaged them on the development of the National Action Plan on Youth Peace and Security.

Yesterday, as a member of the Technical Working Group of the National Action Plan (NAP) on Youth, Peace and Security (YPS), the Youth Bridge Foundation engaged young people to gather their input to feed into the NAP.

From April 27 to May 8 2026, youth and multistakeholder consultations on the NAP on YPS will happen in the Central and Western regions followed by engagements in the Western North and Ashanti regions. This comes on the back of previous consultations held in the Upper West, Upper East, Savannah and Northern Region and nine(9) regional youth-only consultations in Greater Accra, Oti, Volta, Eastern, North East, Upper West, Upper East, Savannah, and Northern Region.

Young people should not be engaged as threats to peace but as essential partners in building and sustaining it. Ghana's development of a NAP on YPS signals the country's commitment to translating that global agenda into concrete national policy.

The National Action Plan, once finalized, will serve as a strategic framework to guide policies and programs that empower young people as active agents of peace and security in Ghana.

YBF is confident that this inclusive approach will play a key role in driving a youth-inclusive and responsive agenda towards dealing with youth peace and security.

Digital literacy is non-negotiable, so we're starting where it matters most by building confidence, one keystroke at a time.

At the Youth Bridge Foundation, we believe that access to opportunity begins with developing youth capacity by meeting them where they are and empowering them with the needed skills to thrive. That's the heart behind everything we do, and it's why programmes like the Typing Bootcamp exist.

Our free 8-week Typing Bootcamp, implemented by Youth Tech Bridge, the digital innovation hub of the Youth Bridge Foundation, is still running and equipping young people in Nsawam with foundational digital skills.

A month ago, we received students from Jackson Public Schools (JPS) in Jackson, Mississippi, USA, and His Majesty Senior High School at our head office in Accra.

They joined us under the Global Citizenship Project to learn about our work and our approach to advancing youth inclusion.

Here are highlights of their visit captured by JSE Productions for the Youth Bridge Foundation

We remain committed to amplifying youth voices because !

Typing may seem small, but it's one of the building blocks of digital confidence, and digital confidence opens global doors.

That's why we're running the Typing Bootcamp 2026, a free 8-week programme for young people in Nsawam, facilitated by Youth Tech Bridge, the digital innovation hub of the Youth Bridge Foundation.

We're giving Ghanaian youth the tools to compete locally and globally.

A new week begins, and so does another opportunity to grow!

At the heart of what we do is making sure no young person is left behind in the digital age.

Through our Typing Bootcamp in Nsawam, facilitated by the Youth Tech Bridge, the digital hub of the Youth Bridge Foundation, young people are building essential keyboard skills, improving their speed, accuracy, and confidence with every session.

Because when we invest in skills, we build confidence, and when we build confidence, we create inclusion.

In a world where young people are used to touchscreens and voice notes, typing efficiently is still one of the most important digital skills they can have.

Through our recent bootcamp held in October 2025, we noticed a gap in typing among our young beneficiaries. That is why the Youth Bridge Foundation, through our digital innovation hub, Youth Tech Bridge, is launching the Typing Bootcamp for Youth this April in Nsawam.

For 8 weeks, this bootcamp will help young people improve their typing speed, accuracy, confidence, and overall digital skills in a practical and supportive environment.

One gentle press at a time, we are preparing young people for a more inclusive digital future.

Join us this April in Nsawam Adoagyiri.
