We joined UNAIDS and pertinent stakeholders convened to deliberate on the outcomes, review, and milestones regarding HIV Prevention for the year 2025.
The HIV Prevention 2025 Road Map serves as a guiding framework for all stakeholders striving to diminish new HIV infections and ultimately halt the AIDS epidemic.
This roadmap is designed to attain objectives such as eradicating disparities, ensuring equitable outcomes and specific targets, prioritizing a comprehensive approach to HIV prevention, focusing on key populations, implementing the New HIV cascade strategy (Undetectable = Untrabnsmittable, or U = U), eliminating new HIV infections in children.
This also involves securing full funding for the HIV response, establishing 10β10β10 targets for societal facilitators, enhancing access to affordable medications, diagnostics, vaccines, and health technologies for sexual and reproductive health, and promoting community leadership, service delivery, and monitoring mechanisms.
