The climate crisis does not affect all communities equally.
Some are losing homes to floods.
Others are losing livelihoods to drought.
Water is becoming both a warning and a growing source of vulnerability.
Across Africa, the communities least responsible for climate change continue to face its harshest impacts from unsafe water access to damaged livelihoods and weakened sanitation systems.
At the African Youth Water Forum (AYWF), we believe climate action must include protecting water, strengthening resilience, and ensuring equitable access to clean water and sanitation for all.
Because there is no climate justice without water justice.
