**🚨 Ghana's Teenage Girls Deserve a Future – Not a Crisis! Introducing SAVEHAVEN 🚨**
Every year in Ghana, over **100,000 teenage girls** face pregnancy, with thousands dropping out of school forever. Recent data shows tens of thousands of cases annually, including heartbreaking numbers among girls as young as 10–14. These young mothers often face stigma, family rejection, unsafe abortions, health risks, and lost dreams of education and independence.
Despite Ghana's progressive **2018 Re-entry Policy**, too few girls return to school due to lack of support, childcare, stigma, and fragmented services.
That's why **SAVEHAVEN** — Safe Adolescent Victimhood, Education & Health Network — is launching **Ghana's first fully integrated one-stop support center** for pregnant teenagers and young mothers in Accra!
**What makes SAVEHAVEN revolutionary?**
A safe, welcoming space under one roof offering:
- Comprehensive medical care (prenatal, safe delivery, family planning, HIV/STI services)
- Trauma-informed counseling & mental health support
- On-site education, distance learning, vocational training (tailoring, IT, catering + more), and school re-entry help
- 60-bed safe housing, nutritious meals, childcare, and 24/7 security
- Ethical adoption options (if chosen)
- Economic empowerment: skills, microfinance, job placement
No judgment. Just hope, healing, and opportunity.
Free for the most vulnerable, subsidized for others — building real sustainability.
**Year 1 Goal**: Support **500 girls**, with an ambitious target of **85% continuing education** and **zero maternal deaths**.
We're seeking a **$250,000 development grant** from partners like **The Stone Family Foundation** (focused on empowering adolescent girls in low-income countries) to equip the center and launch operations!
This isn't just a center — it's a **life-changing model** that can expand across Ghana and Africa, influence national policy, and deliver **4x economic return** by saving lives, preserving education, and breaking poverty cycles.
**Ghana's daughters deserve better. They deserve a second chance.**
