In Bolgatanga, 50 youth leaders from the Upper East Region have completed a one-week training on ๐๐ซ๐๐ฏ๐๐ง๐ญ๐ข๐ง๐ ๐๐ข๐จ๐ฅ๐๐ง๐ญ ๐๐ฑ๐ญ๐ซ๐๐ฆ๐ข๐ฌ๐ฆ (๐๐๐), equipping them with practical skills to promote peace and strengthen community resilience.
Through interactive sessions, participants strengthened their understanding of the drivers of violent extremism, early warning signs, peacebuilding, youth leadership, and practical ways to counter extremist narratives in their communities.
As security concerns grow across the Sahel region, empowering young people as advocates for peace has never been more important.
