The Kofi A. Tawiah Foundation. recently had the honour of participating in the graduation ceremonies of several of our partner schools.
One of the most inspiring moments of these ceremonies was the recognition of students who demonstrated exemplary character traits, including respect, responsibility, honesty, compassion, and leadership, among others.
The graduation events also provided the Foundation with an opportunity to engage parents, teachers, and the wider school community on the vital role each stakeholder plays in nurturing positive values.
As we congratulate this year's graduates, we also celebrate every parent, teacher, learner, and partner school that championed character education.
Congratulations to all the graduates, our Character Award recipients, and our partner schools. May you continue to shine as ambassadors of good character and inspire others to do the same.

The Kofi A. Tawiah Foundation. is honoured to have participated in the just-ended National Conference on Stemming the Growing Indiscipline in Schools. Organised by the Ministry of Education GH, this three-day national dialogue brought together education leaders, government agencies, institutions, researchers, school administrators, parents, and other key stakeholders to discuss this concerning issue of indiscipline in schools. The conference addressed several concerning topics affecting schools in Ghana today, including:
* The emerging causes of indiscipline in schools.
* Artificial Intelligence and its implications for school discipline.
* Balancing students' rights and consequences.
* The critical role of parents in character formation.
* Empowering schools to effectively guide and discipline learners.
* Evidence-based interventions for promoting positive behaviour and lasting change.
As an organisation dedicated to advancing character education, we were excited to have contributed to these important national conversations, learn and engage with like-minded individuals and institutions who share our vision of raising students and young people with good character. The conference also provided a valuable opportunity to build new partnerships, exchange ideas, and explore innovative approaches that will strengthen our work with partner schools across Ghana.
We extend our profound appreciation to the Ministry of Education GH for the invitation and reaffirm our commitment to working with dedicated schools and institutions to nurture positive values in students and young people.

Please join us in celebrating Nana Adwoa Mantebea Boateng, whose essay has been recognised by Character.org as one of the "Most Compelling" and among the top essays in the 2026 "Laws of Life" Essay Contest.
In her inspiring essay, Nana Adwoa reflected on her "Test of Self-Control," emphasising the importance of managing our desires in the face of temptation.
