Recent data has found that students living in poverty often face far more challenges than their peers. Students living in poverty often have fewer resources at home to complete homework, study, or engage in activities that helps equip them for success during the school day..

Nova’s Angels school supply drive ensures every student have an equal chance in the classroom.

When students have the necessary supplies, the impact is significant. They feel 94% more prepared for studies, their self-confidence increases by 76%, and they participate in class 83% more.

It’s a tough reality that nearly all teachers, about 93%, reach into their own pockets to provide classroom supplies at the start of each school year.

Facing difficult decisions, some families have to choose between basic needs like food and purchasing school supplies. As a result, some students come to school lacking the essential tools for learning.
