Kenyatta Kares Foundation - NGO was founded in 2022 by Simone Kenyatta White. After visiting Ghana in 2021 and feeling so connected to the
Continent, I started to observe more and felt compelled to draw closer to the needs of the community by helping. Through support, education, elevation, & empowerment. I felt a greater need to help children that were left without parents, as well as single mothers & their children that were without livable shelter. Kenyatta Kares is a foundation where We Proudly Wear Our Heart On Our Sleeve, by helping those less fortunate within our communities in Accra & neighboring areas in Ghana. Our goal is to provide the children left without parents and the single mothers & their children that are homeless, the essentials they would need for daily survival (i.e. food, hygiene products, water, clothing, shoes, etc.), while also seeking outside resources that could help provide assistance with livable accommodations, and school supplies for the children (i.e. books, book bags, notebooks, pencils, erasers, crayons, etc.).
