We are honoured to welcome Mr. Kofi Okyere-Darko, Director of Diaspora Affairs at the Office of the President, as a distinguished speaker at ASSETS 2026!

As Ghana's lead official on diaspora engagement, Mr. Okyere-Darko champions the diaspora as Ghana's "16th Region" a strategic partner in trade, investment, and national development. Under his leadership, the Diaspora Affairs Directorate has strengthened ties between Ghanaians abroad and the homeland, mobilising the diaspora dividend for economic transformation.

Under "Beyond Borders: Made in Ghana, Valued Globally," he will share insights on how the diaspora can be responsibly harnessed to promote Made in Ghana products, open global markets, and accelerate SME competitiveness.

As the head of ITC's Africa operations, Dr. Akubia leads the Council's mission to expand global trade opportunities across the continent.
