INVEST YOUR LOVE WHERE IT IS VALUED.

Science talks about different forms of energy, but there is another important kind we experience every day that is less talked about—emotional energy.

It is the emotional effort you invest in people, relationships, and situations that matter to you. It includes your love, attention, care, patience, trust, and effort.

That is why you must be intentional about where, how, and with whom you invest your heart.

When you constantly give to someone who does not value or appreciate you, you may find yourself chasing attention, fighting for basic respect, and questioning your worth. Before long, you become emotionally exhausted.

But a healthy relationship should not continually drain you. With the right partner, there is room for your love and effort to be valued, nurtured, and reciprocated.

So, dear friends, love deeply, but love wisely.

Don’t waste yourself trying to make the wrong person become the right person.

Don’t only ask yourself, “Do I love this person?”
Also ask, “What is this relationship doing to my emotional well-being?”

Your love is valuable. Give it wisely.
