A Nation Mourns. A Legacy Endures.

Yesterday, Hon. Alhaji Dr. Ibrahim Murtala, Minister for Environment, Science and Technology, inspired us at the opening of and the Global Education Event on Quantum Science and Technology. He spoke passionately about Ghana’s future in science, research, and a unified 40-year national development vision.

Today, we are heartbroken to learn he is among the eight who perished in a helicopter crash on national assignment.

Dr. Murtala was more than a government official, he was a visionary committed to shaping a prosperous, innovative Ghana. His support for and ESDEV Foundation Africa was unwavering.

We will carry his voice forward in every innovation we nurture and every young mind we inspire.

🕊️ Rest in power, Hon. Murtala. You believed in Ghana. We will honour that belief.
