Visit of Rotary District Governor Soraya Gustave Warner
OLVESTON, Montserrat – February 5th, 2026
The 2025 – 2026 Rotary District 7030 Governor (DG) Soraya Gustave Warner is on island visiting the Rotary Club of Montserrat from Thursday 5th February to Sunday 8th February, 2026.
During her visit to Montserrat, District Governor Soraya will make courtesy calls on Her Excellency, the Governor, Harriet Cross and the Honourable Premier, Reuben T Meade. She will also participate in projects to include, but not limited to;
- A donation of a Sensory board to the Salem Nursery School,
- Rotary’s collaboration with Unsewcial to support skills development for employment
- See Our Islands Better Project being undertaken in collaboration with the Rotary Club of Jarry out of Guadeloupe.
The packed agenda will also feature an island tour and joint social.
A key highlight of District Governor Soraya’s visit, will be a Joint Assembly and Induction Ceremony hosted by the Interact Club, Rotaract Club and Rotary Club where a total of six (6) new members will be installed collectively.
The District Governor visit is part of the wider mandate to engage and promote the objectives of Rotary International across the District which encompasses 77 Rotary Clubs and more than 2,400 members spread across 17 countries and territories in the Eastern Caribbean, mainland South America, and the ABC Islands.
The Rotary Club of Montserrat takes the opportunity to thank its partners and members of the public for their ongoing support in delivering impactful projects to the people of Montserrat.
The Rotary Club of Montserrat is a non-profit community service organization. Meetings are held weekly from 7:00pm to 8:00pm at Olveston House and occasionally at Grand Phoenix Restaurant in Brades.
