BPW (International Federation of Business and Professional Women) - საქმიან ქალთა საერთაშორისო გაერთიანებაა, რომელიც საერთო ღირებულებებითა და მისიით აერთიანებს საქმიან და პროფესიონალ ქალებს მთელი მსოფლიოს მასშტაბით.
ფედერაციის შექმნის იდეა 1930 წელს შვეიცარიაში, ქალაქ ჟენევაში, დოქტორი ლენა მადსენ ფილიპსის ინიციატივით გაჩნდა მსოფლიო ქალთა ბიზნესისა და ეკონომიკის განვითარების ხელშეწყობის მიზნით დ
ა დღემდე წარმატებით მოღვაწეობს მსოფილოს 100-ზე მეტ ქვეყანაში. ფედერაციის მთავარი მიზანი ქალების თანაბარი შესაძლებლობების გაცნობას ემსახურებოდა, როგორც ეკონომიკურ და სამოქალაქო, ასევე პოლიტიკურ ცხოვრებაში. BPW Georgia • საქმიან და პროფესიონალ ქალთა გაერთიანება - საერთაშორისო ფედერაციის (BPW International) ოფიციალური წარმომადგენელია საქართველოში. BPW Georgia-ს საქმიანობის ძირითად სფეროს წარმოადგენს მეწარმე, საქმიან და პროფესიონალ ქალთა ხელშეწყობა, მათი თვითრწმენისა და მოტივაციის ზრდა, პროფესიული თუ პიროვნული კომპეტენციების განვითარება და რაც ყველაზე მთავარია, შესაძლებლობების გაჩენა საერთაშორისო მასშტაბებით.
სწორედ ამ მიზნების რეალიზებისთვის შექმნა გაერთიანების უმაღლესი ორგანო - "დარგობრივი კომიტეტების საბჭო", რომელიც ჩაშლილია შემდეგ სამ მიმართულებად:
○ ტრენინგებისა და განვითარების საბჭო
○ მეწარმეობისა და ბიზნესის განვითარების საბჭო
○ ციფრული და ტექნოლოგიური განვითარების საბჭო
BPW (International Federation of Business and Professional Women) is an international association with common values and mission, that brings together business and professional women around the world. The idea of creating a federation belongs to Dr. Lena Madsen Phillips and was founded in 1930, Geneva, Switzerland, for promoting business and economic abilities for women around the world. The federation successfully operates in more than 100 countries around the world. The main goal of the federation was to introduce equal opportunities for women in both economic and civil as well as political life. BPW Georgia • Unity of Business and Professional Women - is an official Representative of the International Federation (BPW International) in Georgia. The main activities of BPW Georgia are promoting possibilities for entrepreneurial, business and professional women, increasing their self-confidence and motivation, developing professional and personal competencies and, most importantly, creating opportunities on the international scale. To achieve these goals, the highest body of the union - the "Council of Sectoral Committees" was created, which is divided into the following three areas:
○ Training and Development Council
○ Entrepreneurship and Business Development Council
○ Digital and Technological Development Council
