🌍Today, we join the global community in recognizing World Refugee Day and honoring the courage, resilience, and determination of millions of people forced to flee their homes.

At ASB, we believe that everyone deserves the opportunity to rebuild their lives with dignity, safety, and hope. For years, we have supported refugees and displaced populations through humanitarian assistance, resilience-building, and socio-economic development initiatives.

Today, our work focuses on supporting Ukrainian refugees in Georgia and refugees displaced from the Nagorno-Karabakh region in Armenia. Through livelihood support, skills development, community activities, and social inclusion initiatives, we help strengthen resilience and create opportunities for integration in host communities.

On this World Refugee Day, once again, we stand with refugees and reaffirm our commitment to building inclusive communities.

ASB საქართველომ, პარტნიორ ორგანიზაცია SSK-სთან ერთად, პროექტ RISE Georgia-ს ფარგლებში ბათუმში, ოზურგეთსა და ზუგდიდში დაინტერესებულ პირთა შეხვედრებისა და გამოფენა-გაყიდვების სერია გამართა.

ღონისძიებებმა თავი მოუყარა ადგილობრივი და რეგიონული ხელისუფლების წარმომადგენლებს, დასაქმებისა და ბიზნესის მხარდაჭერის ინსტიტუციების, სამოქალაქო საზოგადოების ორგანიზაციებს, დამსაქმებლებსა და ქალ ბენეფიციარებს, რათა განეხილათ ქალთა ეკონომიკურ საქმიანობაში მონაწილეობის ხელშემშლელი ბარიერები და გამოევლინათ უფრო ძლიერი თანამშრომლობისა და მდგრადი გადაწყვეტილებების შესაძლებლობები.

ღონისძიებაზე ქალ ბენეფიციარებს შესაძლებლობა ჰქონდათ დაკავშირებოდნენ დამსაქმებლებსა და ბიზნესის წარმომადგენლებს, წარედგინათ საკუთარი პროდუქცია და ინიციატივები, ასევე შეესწავლათ დასაქმებისა და მეწარმეობის შესაძლებლობები.

ჩვენთვის დიდი პატივი იყო ლენა კოპენშტაინერის, ავსტრიის საელჩოს მისიის ხელმძღვანელის მოადგილისა და კონსულის, მონაწილეობა, რომლის დასწრებამ კიდევ ერთხელ დაადასტურა ავსტრიის ერთგულება საქართველოში ქალთა გაძლიერების, სოციალური ინკლუზიისა და მდგრადი განვითარების მხარდაჭერის მიმართ.

ასევე, გულწრფელ მადლობას ვუხდით ყველა სპიკერს, პარტნიორ ორგანიზაციას, დამსაქმებელს, ადგილობრივი ხელისუფლების წარმომადგენელსა და მონაწილეს, რომელთა გამოცდილებამ, ჩართულობამ და წვლილმა მნიშვნელოვანი ღირებულება შესძინა ამ ღონისძიებებს.

ქალებისთვის მდგრადი შესაძლებლობების შექმნა სხვადასხვა სექტორის კოორდინირებულ მოქმედებას საჭიროებს. გაძლიერებული პარტნიორობისა და საერთო ძალისხმევის მეშვეობით, ჩვენ შეგვიძლია გავაგრძელოთ უფრო ინკლუზიური თემების განვითარება და ქალებისთვის ეკონომიკური შესაძლებლობების გაფართოება საქართველოს მასშტაბით.

ASB Georgia, in partnership with SSK, recently organized a series of Multi-Stakeholder Meetings and Trade Fairs in Batumi, Ozurgeti, and Zugdidi within the framework of the RISE Georgia project.

The events brought together representatives of local and regional authorities, employment and business support institutions, civil society organizations, employers, and women beneficiaries to discuss barriers to women's economic participation and identify opportunities for stronger cooperation and sustainable solutions.

The Trade Fairs complemented these discussions by creating a practical platform for networking, knowledge exchange, and collaboration. Women beneficiaries had the opportunity to connect with employers and business representatives, showcase their products and initiatives, and explore pathways toward employment and entrepreneurship.

We were honored by the participation of Lena Koppensteiner, Deputy Head of Mission and Consul of the Austrian Embassy in Tbilisi, whose presence reaffirmed Austria's commitment to supporting women's empowerment, social inclusion, and sustainable development in Georgia.

We also extend our sincere appreciation to all speakers, partner organizations, employers, local authorities, and participants whose expertise, engagement, and contributions enriched these events. Creating sustainable opportunities for women requires coordinated action across sectors.

Through strengthened partnerships and shared commitment, we can continue building more inclusive communities and expanding economic opportunities for women across Georgia.

🎈 ბავშვთა დაცვის საერთაშორისო დღეს გილოცავთ! 🎈

ამ განსაკუთრებული დღის აღსანიშნავად, გუშინ ლისის ტბაზე ბავშვებთან და მათ მშობლებთან ერთად დაუვიწყარი დღე გავატარეთ. მეგობრულმა გარბენმა და პიკნიკმა გააერთიანა ოჯახები, სიხარული, გულწრფელი ღიმილი და უამრავი სასიამოვნო მოგონება. 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️

ბავშვთა დაცვის საერთაშორისო დღე კიდევ ერთხელ გვახსენებს, რომ თითოეულ ბავშვს აქვს უფლება იზრდებოდეს უსაფრთხო, მზრუნველ და მხარდამჭერ გარემოში, სადაც მას ექნება წვდომა იმ რესურსებსა და შესაძლებლობებზე, რომლებიც სრულფასოვანი განვითარებისა და წარმატებული მომავლისთვის არის საჭირო.

ჩვენ ერთგულად ვაგრძელებთ ბავშვებისა და მათი ოჯახების მხარდაჭერას სხვადასხვა პროგრამისა და ინიციატივის მეშვეობით.

გულითად მადლობას ვუხდით ყველა ბავშვსა და მშობელს, ვინც შემოგვიერთდა და ეს დღე განსაკუთრებულად აქცია.

გუშინ, 13 მაისს, ASB-მ მონაწილეობა მიიღო ავსტრიის საელჩოში გამართულ სპეციალურ საქველმოქმედო ღონისძიებაში.

🤝ღონისძიება ავსტრიის საელჩოსა და SSK-ს თანამშრომლობით გაიმართა და მისი მიზანი საქართველოში სოციალურად დაუცველი ოჯახების მხარდაჭერა იყო.

👗სტუმრებს შესაძლებლობა ჰქონდათ შეეძინათ მაღალი ხარისხის მეორადი ტანსაცმელი, ასევე მიეღოთ ინფორმაცია ორგანიზაციების საქმიანობის შესახებ და განეხილათ სამომავლო თანამშრომლობის შესაძლებლობები.

გვსურს გულწრფელი მადლობა გადავუხადოთ ავსტრიის საელჩოს ღონისძიების მასპინძლობისთვის, ხოლო ყველა სტუმარსა და პარტნიორს მხარდაჭერისთვის.

Yesterday, on 13 May, ASB took part in a special Charity Event hosted at the Austrian Embassy.

🤝Organized in cooperation with the Austrian Embassy and SSK, the informal gathering aimed to support socially vulnerable families in Georgia while bringing the community together for a meaningful cause.

👗Guests had the opportunity to browse and shop high-quality pre-loved clothing, as well as learn more about the important work of the organizations and explore future opportunities for cooperation.

We would like to express our sincere gratitude to the Austrian Embassy for hosting the event, and to all guests and partners whose support and participation made it truly special.

ASB Georgia is launching Vocational Education and Training (VET) in the Samegrelo region as part of the RISE project.

Starting May 4, 30 women and girls will gain practical, market-relevant skills in:

🧵 Sewing and tailoring
🍞 Baking and culinary arts
