🇬🇪✈️💫დღეს საქართველო მსოფლიოს სხვა ქვეყნებთან ერთად უერთდება World Tourism Organization (UNWTO) - ის ინიციატივას და #მსოფლიოტურიზმისდღე-ს აღნიშნავს, რომლის წლევანდელი თემაა "ტურიზმი და მშვიდობა".
📌🤝უკვე 30 წელია, რაც USAID ხელს უწყობს საქართველოს ტურიზმის განვითარებას, ეხმარება სამუშაო ადგილების შექმნაში, სერვისის ხარისხის ამაღლებასა და ტურიზმის მომსახურებების გაფართოებაში.
USAID-ის პარტნიორები ტურიზმის სფეროში აღნიშნავენ: 💬"ტურიზმი ხელს უწყობს ქვეყნების და კულტურების წარმომადგენლებს შორის ურთიერთობებისა და გაცვლის ჩამოყალიბებას, რაც ეკონომიკურ განვითარებას და სოციალურ სტაბილურობას უზრუნველყოფს, ამ კავშირს კი საბოლოოდ მშვიდობა მოაქვს." - ამბობს შალვა ხეცურიანი, საქართველოს სომელიეთა ასოციაცია • Georgian Sommelier Association.
📌ტურიზმის განვითარება საქართველოში არა მხოლოდ ეკონომიკურ სარგებელს ქმნის, არამედ კულტურული გაცვლის, დიპლომატიური დიალოგისა და გლობალური სტაბილურობის საფუძველიც ხდება, რაც მშვიდობის შენარჩუნებას უწყობს ხელს. ამ მოსაზრებას იზიარებენ სხვა პროფესიონალებიც.
💬ნიკა რეხვიაშვილი, Georgian Mountain Guides - ის პრეზიდენტი აღნიშნავს: "ტურიზმსა და მშვიდობას შორის ღრმა კავშირია. მშვიდობის გარეშე, ტურიზმი ვერ განვითარდება, ხოლო ძლიერი ტურიზმის ინდუსტრია ხელს უწყობს მშვიდობის ჩამოყალიბებას, სამუშაო ადგილების შექმნას და ეკონომიკური განვითარებას. ეს გამოცდილება აჩვენებს, თუ როგორ უწყობს მშვიდობა ხელს ქვეყანაში ტურიზმის განვითარებას ბოლო 30 წელზე მეტი ხნის განმავლობაში."
💬Ia Tabagari, ტურიზმის ექსპერტი და Living Roots Travel-ის დამფუძნებელი ხაზს უსვამს მშვიდობის მნიშვნელობას ტურიზმისთვის: "ტურიზმი ბიზნესია, და მშვიდობიანი გარემოს გარეშე მისი არსებობა შეუძლებელია." ის აღნიშნავს ტურიზმისა და თემების კავშირს: "ჩემი გამოცდილებით, სოფლის ტურიზმი მშვიდობის საფუძველია, რომელიც აკავშირებს ადამიანებს და ქმნის ახალ შესაძლებლობებს".
🤝📌საქართველოსთვის მსოფლიო ტურიზმის დღის აღნიშვნა პირველი გამოცდილებაა, რაც ასახავს ქვეყნის ტურიზმის როლის ზრდას მშვიდობისა და ეკონომიკური მდგრადობის განმტკიცებაში.

📌🤝For 30 years, USAID has supported Georgia's tourism development, helping create jobs, elevate service quality, and expand local tourism services. USAID partners in tourism field emphasize: 💬"Tourism connects people from different backgrounds, breaks down barriers, and fosters understanding," says Shalva Khetsuriani from the საქართველოს სომელიეთა ასოციაცია • Georgian Sommelier Association. 💬"It fosters relations and exchanges between representatives of different countries and cultures, driving economic development and ensuring social stability, which ultimately contributes to peace."
The development of tourism in Georgia exemplifies how tourism can go beyond economic benefits to serve as a foundation for cultural exchange, diplomatic dialogue, and global stability, all of which promote and preserve peace. This sentiment is echoed by professionals in the sector, who have witnessed firsthand how peace and stability allow tourism to thrive.
💬Nika Rekhvaishvili, President of the Georgian Mountain Guides "GMGA" reflects on the symbiotic relationship between tourism and peace: "Tourism and peace are deeply interconnected. Without peace, tourism cannot thrive, and a strong tourism industry helps foster peace by creating jobs and strengthening local economies." He adds, 💬 "Georgia's experience over the past 30+ years clearly illustrates how peace positively impacts tourism development."
💬Ia Tabagari, tourism expert and founder of Living Roots Travel underscores the critical role of a peaceful environment for tourism: "Tourism is a business, and without a peaceful environment, its existence is impossible." She highlights the deep connection between tourism and communities, noting, "In my experience, rural tourism acts as a microcosm that fosters peace by connecting people and creating opportunities.
