"XUAN （Family Name 玄 ） ZHAOSHAN (Given Name 肇珊)
Date of birth: 1922.09.19
During the childhood and early youth, I studied the Shaolin Temple Fist at the Shanghai Chin Woo Athletic Federation which located at the Taohua Lane, Daowai District, Harbin City (capital of Heilongjiang Provicne, in northeast of China) under the master Hu (Hu Guangwen) till 1934 I finished the apprenticeship. In 1939 winter, I started studying under Taichi Fist and Five-Animal Boxing master Chen Shigu at the Jile Temple (located in Nangang District, Harbin City); master Chen mainly teaching the definitions and comments of main Chinese Kung Fu schools for young monks. Since 1959, I lived abroad in Tbilisi, Geogria for over 20 years. When some youths invited me to teaching Shaolin Jinying Fist for them, I also not thought to write a book, but after the many invitations from editor of Today Kung Fu (magazine), I promised the editor to write this teaching book. I am still not mastering the fist position, so I apologize to the hobbyists here. Write on June 1st, 1982 at home (signed with his personal full name stamp)"
