🌍 EU4Youth Workshop in Istanbul: Empowering Youth Organisations for Employment Policy 🇪🇺🇬🇪
From April 27–30, youth leaders, civil society actors, and institutional stakeholders from Armenia, Georgia, Moldova, and Ukraine came together in Istanbul for a powerful exchange on youth employment, Active Labour Market Measures (ALMPs), and the Youth Guarantee (YG). The EU4Youth workshop was a dynamic platform for dialogue, learning, and cross-border collaboration. 🤝
🇬🇪 Representing Georgia:
🔹 Maka Sartania – EU Focal Point
🔹 Giorgi Kikalishvili –Erasmus+ & ESC Info Centre/ Association DRONI/
🔹 Pavle Tvaliashvili – Georgian Youth Organisations Forum / NGO SIQA
The Georgian delegation actively contributed to discussions on adapting EU tools—like the Youth Guarantee—to local realities. Valuable insights from peers in Lithuania, Poland, and North Macedonia sparked inspiration for more inclusive and effective approaches in Georgia. 💡
This workshop reaffirmed the vital role youth organisations play—not just as advocates, but as key partners in policy implementation. The team returns home motivated and equipped to strengthen Georgia’s youth employment strategies through collaboration and innovation. 🇬🇪✨
