The “Fundamental Academic Values Award” call for applications is now open until 22 June 2026!

The award aims to support young researchers advocating for crucial values in higher education and democracy, including academic freedom, institutional autonomy, student and staff participation in governance, and public responsibility.

If you are an early-career researcher in the European Higher Education Area and the topic of your research connects directly to fundamental values in higher education, then you are eligible for application. Winners of the three awards will receive a monetary prize and will be invited to present their research during a public event.

The award is funded by the Bundesministerium für Forschung, Technologie und Raumfahrt.

VORsprung - digitale Vorbereitung zum MINT-Studium

Das Programm umfasst insgesamt 33 Wochen und hat einen Workload von 25-30 Zeitstunden pro Woche.

1. Du brauchst einen Sprachnachweis über deine deutschen Sprachkenntnisse (B1).
2. Du brauchst ein Schulabschlusszeugnis, mit dem du dich an einem Studienkolleg bewerben könntest.
3. Du brauchst für den Kurs einen Laptop oder PC und eine stabile Internetverbindung.
