The event will gather around 300 participants in the city of Tbilisi between 11th to 19th of November. EYP represents a non-partisan and independent educational project which is tailored specifically to the needs of the young European citizens. EYP encourages independent thinking and socio-political initiative in young people and facilitates the learning of crucial social and professional skills.
Today EYP is one of the largest European platforms for political debate, intercultural encounters, political educational work and the exchange of ideas among young people in Europe. EYP consists of a network of 36 European associations and organisations in which thousands of young people are active in a voluntary capacity. Each of these sessions brings together over 300 young people from all over Europe for 10 days in different European countries. EYP Georgia was granted the honor of hosting an international session from 11th to 19th of November, 2017
EYP Georgia, which officially joined EYP in 2008, gained permission to host the 86th International Session in February 2016, after having organised a great amount of Regional and National Sessions and several International Forums.
