დღეს ოფიციალურად გაფორმდა ურთიერთთანამშრომლობის მემორანდუმი საქართველოს ერთსულოვნება • Sakartvelos Ertsulovneba -სა და IOV GEORGIA შორის.

აღნიშნული შეთანხმება მიზნად ისახავს კულტურის, ტრადიციებისა და შემოქმედებითი საქმიანობის განვითარებას, ერთობლივი პროექტების განხორციელებასა და ქართული კულტურის საერთაშორისო ასპარეზზე პოპულარიზაციას.

მემორანდუმის ფარგლებში მხარეები ითანამშრომლებენ:

📄 Memorandum of Cooperation Signed!

Today, a Memorandum of Cooperation was officially signed between Sakartvelos etsulovneba (Unity of Georgia) and IOV Georgia

This agreement aims to promote culture, traditions, and creative activities through joint projects and to present Georgian cultural heritage on the international stage.

Within the framework of the memorandum, the parties will cooperate in:
✔️ Organizing cultural events and festivals
✔️ Implementing educational and creative programs
✔️ Supporting young talents and artists
✔️ Strengthening international partnerships

This marks an important step toward new opportunities and strong cooperation.

From January 11–13, 2026, The Seminar on Women and the Inheritance and Development of Traditional Handicrafts was successfully held in Beijing, China. The event brought together women artisans, artists, scholars, and cultural practitioners from different regions to exchange experiences and perspectives on the safeguarding and development of traditional handicrafts.

The seminar highlighted the essential role of women in preserving, transmitting, and innovating traditional handicrafts, while also recognizing the active participation of young artists and emerging creators whose fresh perspectives contribute to the future of living heritage.

Representatives of the International Organization of Folk Art (IOV) from Latvia, China, Mongolia, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Germany, and Colombia engaged in meaningful cross-cultural dialogue on tradition, creativity, and sustainability.

The event concluded with a summary by Chen Ping, UNESCO Chair on World Traditional Handcrafts Inheritance and Innovation, who emphasized the importance of protecting traditional handicrafts as a shared treasure of humanity and called for stronger international cooperation—especially in support of women and young practitioners.

Comunicato Ufficiale – IOV Italia

Nomina della nuova Presidente mondiale IOV

La Commissione Comunicazione di IOV Italia Section Partner Unesco informa con profonda partecipazione che, in data 15 ottobre 2025, il Presidente mondiale IOV International Organization of Folk Art, Prof. Ali Abdullah Khalifa, ha rassegnato le proprie dimissioni per motivi di salute.

Il Consiglio di Amministrazione, riunitosi nella stessa giornata, ha deliberato – come previsto dall’articolo 11.4 dello Statuto IOV – la nomina all’unanimità della Prof.ssa Emma Chen Ping quale nuova Presidente mondiale dell’organizzazione, con incarico fino alle prossime elezioni del World General Assembly (WGA) previste per il 2027.

La Commissione esprime profonda gratitudine al Prof. Khalifa per l’impegno e la dedizione dimostrati nel corso del suo mandato, e rivolge alla Prof.ssa Emma Chen Ping i migliori auguri per un percorso ricco di successi e serenità alla guida dell’IOV.

Con questa transizione, IOV rinnova il proprio impegno nella promozione del patrimonio culturale immateriale e nella valorizzazione delle tradizioni popolari a livello globale.
