๐ฟOver three inspiring days, students from Khobi and Poti municipalities came together for the Green Champions Camp, where they explored how climate change affects their communities and discovered how they can become part of the solution.
๐Through interactive workshops, practical exercises, teamwork, and creative challenges, participants learned about climate change, green transition, sustainable development, waste management, circular economy, sustainable fashion, green entrepreneurship, and the professions of the future. They also strengthened their leadership, communication, and project design skills, transforming their ideas into concrete initiatives for their schools and communities.
๐โจOn the final day, joined by their teachers, the students pitched their own green project ideas aimed at making their schools and communities more sustainable. Over the coming months, they will have the opportunity to further develop and submit their proposals, with around 10 of the strongest initiatives receiving mentorship and practical support to bring their ideas to life.๐ก
The camp was organized by World Experience for Georgia (WEG) within the Green Champions Programme, implemented with the support of UNDP and the Government of Denmark under the "Greening the Future, Advancing Rights and Stability" project.
