The Georgian Association of Social Workers (GASW) is a non-governmental, non-political and not-for-profit organization founded in 2004 in Tbilisi, Georgia by the first qualified Georgian social workers with academic education acquired in the field of social work in the leading western universities. GASW is the first such initiative in the country, advocating for the rights, recognition and importance of social workers in Georgia, and the clients they serve.
