Center for Organizational, Strategic, and Democratic Priorities- COSDP Utilize the power of knowledge, potential, and capacity to harness democratic values

Core Directions
The center is composed of 4 separate directions with their own set of activities to be outlined on the basis of a client’s need assessment and evaluation. All directions are purpose-based services or activities to be rendered for clients as individuals or organizations. Out of four directions, one will focus on evidence-based research to be conducted to better understand how civic

engagement through democratic innovations can be strengthened to establish a collective decision-making mechanism while assuring a voice and rights to citizens. Other directions will focus on providing assessments and program evaluations as well as services in organizational development and in the areas of technical expertise and logistics.

Call to EU Candidate Countries' Civil Society: Apply to join the EESC's work
The European Economic and Social Committee (EESC) is hereby launching a call for expressions of interest, inviting representatives of employers' organisations, trade unions and civil society organisations from EU candidate countries[1] to participate in the EESC's pilot project and become "enlargement candidate members" (ECMs). This initiative makes the EESC the first EU institution to offer the candidate countries a specific opportunity for involvement and participation. The initiative is designed as a one-year pilot project for 2024 and will be evaluated in December 2024.

Denola Chkhartishvili is a founding member of the Center for Organizational, Strategic and Democratic Priorities (COSDP) and a specialist of International Relations (IR) with extensive knowledge and experience in civic integration of vulnerable groups, human rights, and democratic oversight over law-enforcement structures, ethnic minorities’ political participation, mass communication, repatriation, and early childhood development. Furthermore, 15 years of experience in research, reporting, advocacy, proposal development, fundraising, project management and the issues related to organizational capacity building and strategic development.

Lisa Basishvili is a Ph.D. candidate in Mass Communication at Tbilisi State University and a Director and Founding member of the Center for Organizational, Strategic, and Democratic Priorities (COSDP). Her main research interests include mass communication, media relations, political behavior, deliberative democracy, and especially experiments with deliberative mini-publics. She has +20 years of work collaboration with internal and external partners as a full-time staff member (or freelancing) of multiple international organizations, donor-funded programs & projects, and short/long-term missions of foreign experts to Georgia specialized in coordination, planning, and management of program activities, logistics, PR/outreach, and communication.
