🚨 On May 14, the Association of Georgian Virtual Zone Persons together with JUST Advisors • Lawyers in Georgia successfully held a practical webinar dedicated to Georgia’s new labor migration rules.

During the session, participants raised a large number of practical questions related to work permits, residence permits, remote employees, company directors, freelancers, inspections, and compliance risks.

The active discussion once again demonstrated the high level of business interest in the practical implementation of the new regulations and the need for further clarification on a number of issues..

🚨 Association Statement to Virtual Zone Companies

New labour migration regulations are now in force. Several legal statuses benefit from explicit exemptions.

Virtual Zone (VZP) companies were not included. This does not mean the issue is closed.
Exemptions for other statuses emerged through active sector engagement.

The Association is assessing the regulatory framework and the possibility of initiating formal dialogue regarding exemption mechanisms for VZP companies.
