While we frequently hear about rising C-section rates and a lack of support for partner-assisted births in Yerevan and Baku, Georgia has become a sanctuary of a kind for expectant mothers. Many women from Armenia and Azerbaijan have been choosing to travel to Georgia specifically to ensure a more empowered birth experience.
Our Birth Doula program was created with a clear mission: to develop maternal support along the Silk Road, where these challenges are most acute.
We focus heavily on:
