🇬🇧 “E-Dance is a dynamic-meditative practice, that helps you release everyday-stress;

The more you practice the more you open up, become free of inner rage, anger, childhood traumas, societal expectations…

As a DJ, my role and duty is to make special selection of tracks and create sense of safety in the room.

☝🏻During the practice, we are sober, and move around intuitively, without restrictions; [in order for everyone to “be on the same page” on the dance-floor, there are certain agreements shared in the Opening Circle].

When we dance in free-form, some feelings and memories can come up that were forgotten or you weren’t paying attention to. [You then have an opportunity to express & let go of them in a safe setting].

🗝️In Ecstatic Dance practice you realize that the key to your health and happiness lies within you.

Life is a dance; and Ecstatic Dance is a microcosm.”💫

Since our project’s animation in Tbilisi, in May 2021, we’ve danced in various places at various times.

The best events, in terms of the effect—dancers feeling unity, freedom and connection—were on the rooftop of Fabrika:

🌆Sunset, open sky, and the weather—evening summer breeze were some key factors.

🙏🏼 To respect the energy put into production and overall interest in attending when its warm outside, we shall only be dancing from May to September, twice in a month (from next year)!

“With dance, it is the dancing itself that is the goal, and no one is concerned with arriving somewhere by doing it.

Naturally, it may happen that one arrives somewhere as a result of having danced. Since one is dancing, one does not stay in the same place; but there is no destination.”
