GCDA aims to build social prosperity, develop civic society, establish the supremacy of law, assist in the understanding of civic education, and develop civic initiatives. GCDA utilizes the following methods to pursue its mission: lobbying and propagating public interests, educating citizens about the law, encouraging community involvement, strengthening the civic sector, developing local government institutions, and furthering environmental protection. While implementing these activities, GCDA takes into consideration the following basic principles and approaches: Improvement of the social condition of the population and the implementation of legal demands.
