Dear Community,

To facilitate a thorough re-evaluation of policies, safety procedures, and finances, the Grenada Community Library will be temporarily closed for the foreseeable future. This pause allows us to reflect, recalibrate, and return with renewed clarity. Our commitment to providing accessible literary resources and nurturing a space of learning and connection remains unwavering. We will provide updates as soon as we resume service.

During this time, we encourage you to stay engaged in literacy work: share stories, read with loved ones, write what matters, and advocate for the spaces that hold our collective memory. Your voice, your presence, and your belief in the power of books help keep our mission alive. For those who require assistance or have questions while we are closed, please contact us at [email protected].

Thank you for your continued support and understanding as we take this intentional step forward.

With gratitude,
The Grenada Community Library Team.

“A library is not just a building—it’s a heartbeat of the community, a keeper of stories, and a quiet spark in literacy.”

A heartfelt thank you to Republic Bank for generously sponsoring this year’s Grenada Community Library & Resource Centre Inc. Summer Camp, themed “Stewards of the Environment.” Your support helped us nurture a generation of eco-conscious thinkers and doers.

From exploring the realities of global warming and climate change, to understanding the impact of pollution, our campers engaged deeply with the urgent call to protect our planet. Through hands-on activities and creative reflection, they embraced the power of renewing, reusing, and recycling—not just as practices, but as values.

Together, we planted seeds of awareness, action, and hope. 🌎💚 Thank you for investing in our youth and in the future of our environment.

Your support helped us create a space where young minds explored, imagined, and grew—guided by the theme “Stewards of the Environment.” From learning about climate change and pollution, to practicing renew, reuse, recycle, our campers were empowered to care deeply for the world around them.

Because of you, this summer wasn’t just fun—it was transformative. Thank you for investing in our youth, our environment, and our future. 🌍💙
