Happening now! UNICEF has collaborated with the Child Protection Authority Grenada to host a one day media workshop on “Ethical Reporting on Children During Disasters”.

The workshop saw media personnel from various media houses across the tri island state.

This workshop aims to strengthen journalists’ capacity to report responsibly, ethically and safely on children affected by climatic events and other disasters, while reinforcing the media’s role in disaster reduction and climate resilience.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to the family and friends of the infant whose life ended abruptly on Thursday August 13th. At this time, we at the Child Protection Authority take the opportunity to remind the public that life as we know it can change or be taken from us at any time. We also encourage you to remain vigilant and be mindful at all times.

It is with heavy hearts we extend our sincerest sympathies to the grieving family on the loss of their son.
