NaDMA’s Drone Pilot Training Reaches New Heights

This week, approximately 16 of 18 participants from Grenada, Carriacou, and Petite Martinique, who have already completed Levels 1 and 2, will complete the Level 3 Advanced Drone Training and be officially certified as Drone Pilots.

These newly certified pilots will join the National Disaster Management Agency (NaDMA) team, ready to support emergency response operations across Grenada.

Through a strong partnership with Global Support and Development (GSD), Grenada is integrating drone technology into Disaster Management, enhancing rapid assessments, logistics, and relief delivery.

This collaboration ensures Grenada is equipped with cutting-edge tools and international expertise, strengthening our resilience and preparedness for future challenges.

NaDMA deploys Drone Team to capture Caribe Wave 26 in Carriacou and PM

Global Support and Development (GSD) has partnered with Grenada's National Disaster Management Agency (NaDMA) to integrate cutting-edge drone technology into national disaster response operations.**

By combining GSD's international expertise in disaster management with NaDMA's operational knowledge, the partnership aims to enhance rapid assessment, logistics coordination, and relief delivery across Grenada and its sister islands.

Through this collaboration, GSD donated state-of-the-art drones to NaDMA, equipping the agency with powerful tools to strengthen its disaster preparedness and response capabilities — ensuring communities benefit from faster, more effective support when it matters most.

Building on this foundation, NaDMA deployed a dedicated drone team to cover Caribe Wave 2026 in Carriacou, marking a significant milestone in the agency's growing operational capacity. The exercise demonstrated NaDMA's readiness to utilize drone technology in real-world scenarios, supporting situational awareness and coordination during one of the region's key Tsunami preparedness exercises.
